Klein Nektar is a boutique 3-hectare farm in Montagu where sustainability, simplicity, and craftsmanship converge.
From our Chardonnay vineyard and Mission olive trees to our orchards and vegetable gardens, everything we grow reflects the Klein Karoo’s raw beauty — honest, grounded, and full of character.
The Vineyard
0.5 Hectares of Chardonnay
Grown in dry Karoo soils and cooled by crisp mountain air, our Chardonnay vines yield around 1,500 litres each season. Harvested by hand and crafted in collaboration with local winemakers, every bottle tells a quiet story of patience, terroir, and care.



The Olive Grove

Our small grove is tended with intention. Every branch is pruned by hand, every olive harvested with care, and each drop of oil cold-pressed for purity and flavour. The result — a smooth, peppery extra virgin olive oil that carries the essence of our land.
The Orchard
From summer peaches, nectarines, figs, and plums to winter citrus and nuts, our orchard is a year-round celebration of seasonal living. These harvests are enjoyed fresh, preserved in jars, or shared with our guests as part of their welcome.


The Vegetable & Herb Garden
Bright tomatoes, leafy greens, fragrant herbs — our garden is an ever-changing tapestry of flavour. Grown naturally and harvested daily, it supplies the ingredients for your breakfast basket and inspires many of our shared farm meals.
Our Chickens
Our happy flock of free-range laying hens roams the farm, enriching the soil and providing fresh, golden-yolk eggs each morning. Guests are welcome to collect eggs themselves — a simple joy that connects you to the rhythm of the land.
